Day I: Arrive Cairo, Meet and assist, Drive to your Hotel, Overnight
Welcome to Cairo! Upon your arrival at the airport, Egypt Vibes highly qualified tour coordinators will greet you at the Meeting Point showing a sign with your name, escort you throughout Customs, Immigration, Facilitate the Visa Process and the baggage claim & portage then transfer to your hotel. Prepare for your adventure to begin.
Day2: Visit Pyramids, Sphinx and Museum & Drive to Aswan by Train
Your adventure in the land of pharaohs begins when you meet Egypt Vibes Egyptologist to discover The Great Pyramids of Giza which consider the most iconic image of Egyptology. You can have a close-up look at The Sphinx, the legendary guardian that stands by the huge funeral complex with its lion body and the head of King Chaperon. In Cairo, it is basically impossible to Miss The Egyptian Museum, housing the world’s largest collection of ancient Egyptian artifacts (more than 145,000 items on display) including masks, coins, statues, carved stone and gems recovered from the tombs. It is considered the largest most precious collection of Egyptian art in the world.
After Cairo visits, depart to Cairo railway station to board the sleeper train to Aswan! First AC Class Sleeper.
Day3: Arrive Aswan Station, Visit High Dam and Philae Temple, Cruise Check in, Overnight
Arrival at Aswan station, greeted by Egypt Vibes representative then transfer to your Cruise. After orientation, enjoy your tour to discover the iconic sights of Aswan, the world famous High Dam was an engineering miracle when it was built in the 1960s. It contains 18 times the material used in the Great Pyramid of Cheops. Continue by motorboat to the island of Philae, View the exquisite, White Temple of Philae, which is dedicated to the goddess Isis and was considered to be the most sacred temple among the whole ones by both Egyptians and Nubians peoples.
Day4: Visit Kom Ombo and Edfu Temples
Sail to Kom Ombo, visit the Greco-Roman temple which is unique in one respect, dedicated to Horus, the Sun God and Sobek, The Crocodile God, continue sail to Edfu upon arrival start your tour by horse-drawn carriage to visit the Temple of Horus, falcon headed god of the sky, the best preserved of all large Egyptian Temples with beautiful inscriptions on the temple walls that provide important information on language, myth and religion in ancient Egypt. Edfu is an impressive temple and is the second largest in Egypt after Karnak Temple.
Day5: Visit Karnak and Luxor Temples
Welcome to Luxor the world’s largest open-air museum, the city has a relaxed vibe, very different from Cairo. Discover The Karnak Temple Complex, The largest religious complex in the world built by generations of pharaohs and the greatest example of worship in the history. Then explore The Imposing Temple of Luxor View the three large statues of Ramses II along the front of the temple pylons. The Courtyard of Ramses II and the Colonnade of Amenhotep III, with its 50- foot-high columns and The Avenue of the Sphinx.
Day6: Visit Valley of Kings, Hatshepsut Temple and Memnon Statues & Drive to Cairo by Train.
After breakfast, Disembark, Cross the Nile to visit The Valley of Kings containing the secretive tombs of New Kingdom Pharaohs for a period of nearly 500 years from the 11th to 16th century BC. Explore the beautifully terraced funerary Temple of Queen Hatshepsut at Deir el Bahari, the most famous powerful queen of Egypt and the only pharaonic women who reigned ancient Egypt then on to the famed Colossi of Memnon, standing nearly 70 feet tall that is remains of the mortuary temple of Amenhotep III. After visits, depart to Luxor railway station to board the sleeper train to Cairo! First AC Class Sleeper.
Day7: Arrive Cairo Station, Meet and assist, Drive to your Hotel, Overnight
Arrival at Cairo station, greeted by Egypt Vibes representative then transfer to your Hotel. Overnight in Cairo.
Day8: Depart Cairo and Homebound Flight.
Today is time to say Good bye To Egypt! Breakfast then transfer to the Airport for your Homebound Flight carrying great memories from Egypt to cherish and unforgettable nice feeling of being in this old country.
